1. The condition of being unable to perform a task or function because of a physical or mental impairment

Physical

A physical disability is an impairment which limits the physical function of ones fine or gross motor skills. Other physical disabilities include impairments that limits areas of daily living. Suchs disabilities could include: amputee, deaf, blind, and quadra/paraplegic.

Someone who has a mental disability is considered to be cognitively challenged. They can be born with it (congenital) or it can appear later in life (acquired). A genetic disabilty would include Down Syndrome or Autism, while a brain injury would be a Stroke or Meningitis.
